ABOUT mefm is a pioneering and unique multiethnic community radio station promoting cultural diversity, learning and training opportunities, volunteering, social inclusion, community development and showcasing local talent / skills.
Since 2001, Mefm has broadcasted annually in the month of May across Aberdeen from their Belmont Street studio. Mefm is currently applying for a 5 years community radio licence.
mefm aims to provide a communication medium for our diverse local community to express its visions and values, and promote tolerance and multi-culturism in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
mefm is broadcasting 24 hours a day between June 1 - June 28
.LISTEN mefm broadcasts on 87.7fm to Aberdeen city and the surrounding area. Due to licence restrictions, the transmitter is limited in power, and as such certain areas may experience poor reception. please use a high quality receiver and aerial to enhance reception.
Mefm is also available online via streaming audio. To listen via the internet you will need to have a media player capable of playing windows media audio.
